Official Opening Of Our Unit For Autism

The sun shined down on us yesterday when we had Minister Jimmy Dennihan officially open our Unit For Autism. As you can see Liam helped him cut the ribbon. We sang out loud and played music as Fr.Declan blessed our school to mark this historic day in our school.  Gordon Flannery from The Kerry Crusaders also presented the Unit for Autism (Our Star Class) with iPad to help the boys communicate more. We are so very thankful to all our parents, friends, staff and especially our boys who made the day very special.

Astronomy Ireland and their Sky Dome

Astronomy Ireland came to visit us with their impressive sky dome. We all thought it was night time and got to see a lovely presentation in this cosy cocoon.

Feis Chiarraí

In our first year competing in the Feis Chiarraí singing and story telling our boys won prizes in all categories. The following morning the boys preformed in front of all the school their winning recital. Well done to their teacher Iníon Uí Choileáin for fantastic preparation.

Hertiage Day

We were very grateful to Mr. Dan Broderick for coming to show us important instruments from our past. The boys were fascinated at the sugan chair made from the straw rope. As you can tell they enjoyed the lesson immensely.
