Action Maths Day

Maths is always more fun when you take it out of the classroom. As a whole school project we had a fun filled action maths day. 5th class took capacity outside and looks like they had a lot of fun. 4th class helped the junior infants understand length and weight using everyday objects. Postman D.J. Mulvihill Comes To Visit

A very important man in our community is the postman. Our local postman D. J. Mulvihill came to visit junior and senior infants to tell them all about the journey of a letter. Our boys in turn wrote their own letters and posted them in our local postbox.

World Book Day

To celebrate world book day our third class boys visited our local book shop. As you can tell we like reading and getting new books is even better!

Pancake Tuesday

Our 2nd & 3rd class boys had a very busy day making pancakes last week. Watch out Master Chef!

Science in the Classroom

As you can tell our boys love science and more so when we can see science in action. Here are a selection of photos of some of our classes. Our 3rd & 4th class boys were testing gravity using paper helicopters and investigating the properties of balance. Our 6th class boys were making wind instruments and our 1st class boys made colourful spinners.

Gabriel Fitzmaurice Poetry Workshop

Our 4th Class had a inspiring visit to the Seanachai Centre for a poetry workshop with poet Gabriel Fitzmaurice. A great morning had by all as seen on the Kerry's Eye newspaper.

Credit Union Quiz Winners
