Junior Entrepreneur 2011

Our 6th Class with guidance from Mr. Mac Síthigh and Mrs Costello, had a hectic week designing, producing, marketing, selling and presenting their project for the Young Entrepreneur Programme. They made a variety of pencil holders rocket pots, croc pots and animal pots which were a huge hit with the boys in the school. Dragons Den watch out!!

Spring Nature Walk

Ms. Sheehy and her junior infants were accompanied on their nature walk by Mrs. Costello's 6th Class boys. The younger boys were on a mission to search for signs of Spring! The senior boys are presently preparing for their Confirmation, so we wish them well next week.

Credit Union Quiz 2011

No wonder our boys are smiling proudly after the recent credit union quiz. Considering 32 teams took part our 6th Class team were 2nd, and our 5th class team were 3rd. Fantastic result!!

Drumming Workshop For All Classes

All our classes had great fun participating in a drumming music class. Bongo drums, tambourines, cowbells were some of the instruments we had. Our boys definitely have rhythm and had no problems making noise! Here are some pictures of the 6th Class and 1st Class boys in action.

Science in Action - 6th Class

One might think CSI Listowel had come to our school this week but our boys in 6th class were learning all about microscopes as part of science week.

End of Year Mass 2010

Every year the end of year mass signifies fare well wishes to our 6th Class boys, as they leave our school for secondary. We wish them all the very best for the future.

Senior Classes School Tour 2010

Mr Guiney's 6th Class, Mrs. Costello's 5th Class and Iníon Ni Choileáin 4th Class all had an action packed day on their school tour in Cappanalea. The sky's the limit for our boys!!

6th Class Confirmation 2010

A big day in the school calendar is the Sacrament of Confirmation for the senior boys. On April 30th Mr. Guiney's sixth Class boys celebrated their Confirmation with Bishop of Kerry Bill Murphy.
