6th Class Surfing

6th Class had a wintery, windy, wild, wet day in Ballybunion learning how to surf. They decided to use the profit from the Young Entrepreneur Competition on surfing lessons. Wet suits and balance were the order of the day. Whilst some might think the winter was still here, Mrs. Costello, Mr. Mac Síthigh and the boys had a day to remember.

Senior Football League 2011

The senior teams have started their games toward the final and the competition is intense. Here we have the boys from fourth, fifth & sixth. Best of Luck Boys!

Junior School League 20011

May and June signals the start of the school league. Here we have all the boys from first, second and third classes in their teams the Boro, Gleann, Ashes & Country. Best of Luck Boys!

Badminton Coaching

All Classes started Badminton coaching this week. Local man Mark Loughnane is going to be with us for a few weeks helping the boys with co-ordination, long and short serves and most importantly getting the shuttle over the net. Here you can see the determination of the 1st, 2nd and 5th class boys.

Athletics Training - Senior Infants

Here we have Mrs. Lane's boys enjoying the athletics training that started this week for all classes. Watch out for the Olympics as our boys are in training all ready!!

Basket Ball Coaching 2010

Did you know along with football coaching on Monday's we have basket ball coaching every Thursday. We are really getting to enjoy the bonce passing, dribbling and shooting associated with basketball, but sometimes those baskets seem very far away for the boys in Mrs Mahonys 1st & 2nd.

School Sports Day 2010

The sun shone brightly on Wednesday for our annual sports day. As you can tell we all enjoyed the fun. The races were held in the morning and novelty activities in the afternoon. All the children in the school were divided into either the blue, white, green or black teams for the afternoon activities and points allocated for winning an activity. Congratulations to the white team!
