Junior & Senior League Finals

We had two fantastic finals on Tuesday and Wednesday but alas only one team can win. Well done to the Gleann and the Ashes.

Garden of Europe Visit

The boys in 5th & 6th got a tour of the Garden of Europe on 'Blooms Day' from local historian Paddy Fitzgibbon. After reading the novel 'The boy in the stripped pyjamas', they got to visit the holocaust memorial (the only one of its kind in Ireland). Also in the garden is a memorial to John B. Keane with our boys pictured inside, although nobody could get inside the head of John B. when he was alive.

Senior Infants Planting

Senior infants were busy planting cress last week and watching them grow. this week in the warm sunshine.

Junior Infants enjoy trip to Allos

In our Easter draw, junior infants won the class prize to a  cooking demonstration in Allos. As you can tell they had a lovely morning with Helen. Thank you to Allos for this lovely prize.

Senior League 2014

Senior League is under way and the competition is intense. Semi finals this week and finals next week. Best of luck everyone

School Sports Day

Tug of war, tag rugby, races, long jump, parachute, crab football were some of the many activities our boys played in our sports day. The sun shone brightly and we were all tired going home after a great day.
