Postman DJ Mulvihill came to visit

Our junior classes got to learn about the important work of a postman when DJ Mulvihill came to visit.

Fun Day Friday

A special word of thanks to the boys in 3rd/4th class who organised Fun day Friday. The whole school got to enjoy games, art,treats and buns and in return all monies raised were given to the Star Class. Watch this space for the the update as to what was purchased with the money.

Science Week

Science week had the boys making helicopters, electric circuits,cakes and structures to name but a few. As you can tell fun was had by all.

Sam McGuire came to visit

We were all so excited to meet footballer Shane Enright this week as he brought the famous Sam McGuire cup with him.

Thank You

Bernie Sheehy and pupils accepting a cheque for €500 from Brian Godfrey, Area Co-Ordinator for Lenrec Recycling. The school fundraises by recycling old clothes from parents, with Lenrec and were the lucky winners in a recent customer draw.

Harvest Time in the Garden

We were delighted when Allos restaurant said they would take our courgettes to make chutneys. watch this space for photos of the finished product. Here some of the 1st class boys hand delivered our harvest and saw a busy kitchen at work.

Preparing the Garden for Spring

Helen has been busy in the garden preparing for Spring, and she had some of the 1st class boys with her. The boys planted daffodils and tulips bulbs.

Halloween Fun at School

Our first class boys had great fun on the day of the holidays playing some traditional Halloween games.
