Star class boys having fun

Special word of thanks to the parents of the star class who fundraised and bought this fantastic climbing frame for the school. As you can tell its a big hit at school.

Maths Week

Here are just two of the classes celebrating maths week. Sixth class were doing tangrams while first and second were on a maths trail around the school counting cars, vegetable beds, steps and having fun!

Road Safety in Junior Infants

Our new boys had great fun last week learning about the importance of being safe on the road.

Halloween Trip

The junior classes had a great trip to Tralee to the Kerry County Museum for the Halloween surprise. The haunted trail was thrilling!!!!

Mission Mass

We all had a lovely time going to the church last Tuesday to celebrate the children's mass for the mission.

Autumn Nature Walk

 

Mrs. Mahony and Mrs. Lane Classes took advantage of the nice weather to celebrate tree day and look at the autumn leaves falling.   We all had to collect leaves from the horse chestnut, the oak, the beech, the sycamore trees and collect the fallen conkers!

Colouring Competition Winners

Well done to Daniel, Jude, Killian and Marcel(absent at time of photo) who recently won awards in the Tidy Towns Colouring Competition. We were all so proud, congratulations.

Planting For Spring

Our 1st & 2nd class had a great time planting tulip bulbs for Spring this week. A special thank you to Helen Mullane who organised the bed, bulbs and busy beavers!

Mission Week

We all had fun learning a new song with actions for the mission week mass. All our school will be going down to the church next Tuesday for mass.
