Halloween Games
I think the boys of 1st & 2nd enjoyed a selection of the traditional Halloween games on the day of their mid-term. Flour mountain, snap apple, bobbing apples and peanut races were a huge success. Congratulations to the 3 boys from 2nd class who won the in-class writing competition.

Green & Gold Day For Orbis Ireland
Don't our boys look smart! To support the Ladies Kerry Football Team in the All Ireland we all wore the Green & Gold. As it was a non uniform day all the children contributed to Orbis Ireland.
ORBIS Ireland was established in 2005 and is currently focused on one major project; to eliminate a highly prevalent and life destroying, blinding disease - trachoma - in some of the poorest regions of southern Ethiopia.
Boys of Scoil Realta raised €225 for Orbis Ireland.
Kieran Kennelly and a group of 14 recently took the
trip to Africa to climb Kilimanjaro for Orbis Ireland. Kieran then came to the
school with a fantastic presentation of photos and videos to show us the
conditions the people of Ethiopia live and work in, how serious the disease
trachoma is and how easily it can be cured with the help of fundraising. A
vaccination costs just €5 while the operation costs €6.
It took the group 5 and half day to reach the
summit which 5985m high.

2nd, 3rd & 4th School Tour 2012
Our boys had a medieval experience in Tralee Museum. All the boys had questionnaires to fill as they went through the museum so they had to keep their eyes peeled for the answers. In the afternoon they went to the Aquadome for few hours of fun in the water. As you can tell they had a great day.
